Hi:
1 KB = 1024 B
1 MB = 1024 KB
1 GB = 1024 MB
1 TB = 1024 GB
in this case (404,228 KB) / 1024 KB = 394.75 MB
hope that helped

M stands for Mega or Millions
K stands for Kilo or Thousands
B stands for Bytes
b (note the lower case) stands for Bits
To directly answer your question, 404,228KB equals 394.75 MB.
There are 8 bits in a Byte
There are 1024 Bytes in a KB
There are 1024 KB in a MB
Some round the 1024 number down to 1000 but if you need precise measurements or are dealing with large amounts of data, the 1024 number will get you better results.
Hope this helps...

Yes MB are bigger than KB.
404, 228KB = 404MB (approx)
I say approx because it's not that simple (computers use binary...) But for real world calculations use:
1KB = 1000B
1MB = 1000KB
1GB = 1000MB
In the cellphone world, data refers to internet usage, and is measures in KB and MB, the price of your internet usage is usually quoted in $ per MB

Yes,
from what i know MB stands for MegaBites and I dont know what K stands for but B stands for Bites.
I think you need 1,000 KB to make 1 MB and you need 1,000MB to make 1 GB (The MB and GB im 100% sure)

1024kb = 1mb
today to make things easier ppl use just 1000kb = 1mb.
So the math is easy, right?
404228kb = about 400mb. That is close enough in the work world. In school the answer would be 394.75mb.

There are 1000 kilobytes in a megabyte so that would be 404 megabytes. Also there are 1000 megabytes in a gigabyte and 1000 gigabytes in a terabyte.

404 MB=404,000KB
1000KB=1MB
1GB=1000MB
Some people say 1024 since that is how Ram is counted.
