I've had this ASUS G53JW-A1 laptop for a week now, and it really is outstanding--sort of. I've usually had underpowered laptops for work, and used the desktop for gaming. This unit is truely outstanding as a gaming platform. I've been using Call of Duty and it runs silky smooth. Boot ups are fast, and construction of the whole unit seems to be well done. Office applications, of course, run at lightning speed. Others have commented extensively on the tech specs, so I'll focus on what it's like to live with it.

A good gaming laptop would be the alienware m17x r3 but it costs like $1800 but its worth it also the only thing about the m17x r3 is that it comes with 3d glasses all nvidia graphics card are 3d enabled.
Another good laptop is a sony vaio its also 3d enabled but costs $1900 here's the links for laptops
