My laptop can't find my wireless printer?

Question

When the printer is hooked up to the laptop, it will print fine. As of now the printer (Brother MFC-490CW) is connected to my desktop computer. I've been able to print off this laptop before but now I can't. Previously, there were about 3 copies of the printer on the laptop all with around 8 documents queued to be printed. I deleted all the printers that way the printer would come up when I try to set up the printer again. I went to add a printer, selected add a wireless printer, but it won't pick up the printer. PLEASE HELP!!!

OMG thought I was the only one with this problem, I have a livebox (via Orange) info says 'just plug it in and you are ready to go.'; Is anyone else fed up of this info|? It take hours and hours. You need to finfd the info on your pc which will tell pc to 'connect' to wireless printer. If necessary ring them. I sm so sorry this is of no help am just hoping that someone from the makers of these things will notice and ring one of us - how the hell they think we think this is 'simple' I will never know. My only advice is one large glass of wine and a determination to ring someone and give them hell! GL

Your printer may have a locate button on the side or back, this would allow your computer to actually find he printer you may need to click that first then search for it
