I am planning to buy a laptop which has Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. But I want to install Windows XP once I have purchased it. Can I do it? (I do have the XP installation disk)

Yes, however, you may need drivers for Windows XP in order for it to work.

Windows Vista may, in some cases, have problems running a dual boot type system. It may require running a virtual machine and then running XP. If all else fails.

um sure but when the partitioner starts make sure you select use the entire disk or something close to that dont make a partition in the drive because you will be storing vita and xp so make sure you select the use entire disk option

Yes you sure can. Many people do just that. Put the CD in the drive, boot from it and go.
