Would using remote desktop improve performance while using your laptop? Like if im running a game through remote desktop, the desktop's processor, ram, and video card will be taking the load?

No you can remote access to tidy up and run clean up programs, even updates, but as for improving performance NO. The laptop has its own resources, and performance sacrifice to prolong battery life is a given, can't be avoided. But as fare as sharing resources like CPU and memory, which is what I think you hinting at is a no.

If you do that you would be getting unplayable frame rates (due to internet), but no only the computer you are accessing would be taking the load of the game.

that is going to do the processing on the backside of the two structures, on your case that is computing device and it won't do something swifter by way of fact that is making use of its own processor and computing device will recent the residing house windows or instructions output (that could desire to be swifter as they're run on computing device) despite you asked by your computing device yet whilst it includes computing device that is going to take its own time in proposing the computing device output on the computing device demonstrate.
