I've seen many cool things where people get windows or mac operating systems on handheld or other devices they were not made for. Just looking at the tech specs for iPad, it seems like it has enough power to at least somehow run Mac OS X, or maybe even a slightly older operating system on it.

What are you thoughts on its possibility or impossibility?

Definitely possible. IF this is possible http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFjl3Ob3VpU, then the Ipad can definitely run it.

you will could consult from the working equipment to do something greater exciting than console apps. Apple could grant a bunch of applications which you would be able to call to faucet into the flexibility of the Mac OS X working equipment and do issues like create homestead windows, message bins, respond to mouse clicks, and so on. ... in case you look up "Mac OS X C++ programming" i'm specific you will come across a great variety of materials.

Believe me, anything is possible when you have a determined hacker.

Technically speaking, the iPad will run OSX, of course, it's a slimmed down mobile version.

They're probably already working on it.
