This is a list of benchmark results, which shows the relative performance of common mobile GPUs,
A Radeon 3450 is number 94 on that list --in the lower half. Compare that to, for example, a GeForce 8600M GT (number 54 on the list), which comes in a Dell XPS M1530, or a GeForce 9800M GS (number 13 on the list), which comes in an ASUS G50VT-X2.
My answer is not really an "answer" to your question. But I want to make some suggestions.
First of all, laptops are not designed for gaming. Most simulation games require a bit of processing power and a good graphics card to display the output.
Secondly, laptop hardware is different to desktop hardware which means you cannot simply buy upgrades for them.
And lastly, I wouldn't use ATI graphics card for gaming. From experience they are more buggy and less supported. Nvidia IS the best for gaming.

Yes, this graphics chipset could handle simulation games at a low to medium range graphics. I mean, all games these days are requiring a lot out of graphics cards.
Hope this helped! :)

nicely, we additionally could desire to renowned your processor, yet while it has 4gb of ram and a first rate snap shots card i will assume it somewhat is stable adequate. it's going to run the Sims 3 and Oblivion somewhat speedy - Use severe element or severe high quality it's going to run Medieval and Empire entire conflict at a first rate speed -Use mid-severe element or mid-severe high quality
