I'm getting a new laptop, just had some questions about screen resolution? What's better out of those 3? Ill be using my laptop mainly for graphic design and games. Maybe Netflix as well. I know 1080 is obviously the better out of the 3 but is there a real difference? Is it worth the extra money?

Not really...unless the price difference is low, its not really worth it as resolutions arent so noticable in small screens..go for 720p ...1080 definitely has some improvements which is worth a a bit of money but not a lot....but the price difference could be due to difference in other hardwares like graphics card n stuff so look at that too

1080p is greater effective than 720p or 1080i 1080i is greater effective than 720p 720p is the minimum for HDTV Plasma as against liquid crystal show is own decision so i visit furnish no opinion from now on in this subject.

As I have found it to be easier on my eyes, I have my laptop resolution set at 1366 x 768, which is the default setting.

This is also the setting when I use my 106cm HDTV as a monitor. I did have it set at 1920 x 1080, but it was difficult to see even though I could put a third window on the screen.
