I'll thank all for already helping me with this question.

But. Is the Stock Dell RAM (8gigs) Better quality than the Kingston Value RAM I am looking at? The cost of my current RAM came at $44 on Dell's website. But that could be just Dell pricing it that way because the other RAM (Of same specs) came at $30. I am concerned that replacing my RAM chips would be me putting in cheaper sets of RAM. Which would be less reliable. I understand performance is the same. But is the Kingston of the same quality? Can someone tell me?

Make sure that the kingston memory is the same specifications in the Dell website. The Dell memory is much expensive due to its trademark name. You can use Kingston memory for your Dell computer as long as it is compatible to your motherboard.

"Dell Ram" is actually from Crucial (Crucial.com) The only difference is that Dell sells RAM for twice as much as Crucial does.

Kingston is also a good quality manufacturer of RAM. Unless you're running a mission critical, "Oh my god, the world will end!" server for a large company...the Kingston Value RAM will work just fine.

If you're really that concerned, there are free RAM testers out there that will conduct a series of stress tests on your RAM by writing to every memory position repeatedly. If, by chance, you did manage to get a bad RAM module, this test will detect it. This doesn't hurt the RAM chips, of course. In fact, all of the PC makers run something similar (among other testing tools) on every system before they ship it.

Kingston is well known for their RAM. The RAM you are thinking to buy is a value RAM, that means it is not a "gaming" RAM which in turn means you will not be able to make adjustments to its frequency or other features in contrast to gaming RAM that would allow for adjustments to its different features. Other than that this RAM would operate as it is advertised. If you are not an over-clocking geek you should be just fine. As far as dell RAM goes, companies like Dell usually add a percentage to any and everything they can to cover their overhead cost. You should always google reviews about electronic components you want to buy to see if there are any incompatiblities between your particular computer and what you are buying. I hope this helps!
