*26sep. i billed a laptop *27th i took delivery of the same.
*5 oct i noticed a dot on the LCD of my new laptop.
*6 oct i have no time to go the the dealer
*7 oct sunday
*8 oct i handed over to the dealer where i bought. Just not at all used by me.
*I claimed for new piece. - They wont agreed. They only replace the LCD by servicing and returning it back. How i accept that my brand new laptop to be servied. i am not satisfied and asked for the replacement of new laptop. Drama talks and arguments are going still now. At this point, I hate even the sony brand and requested for full refund of my money back. they are not at all agreeing to any of my points and ask me to wait for another 10 - 15 days to get some other new models. Even the sony customer care told me to deal this issue only with that particular dealer. I am in my business projects now and cant wait for such long days. Very upset and helpless position. how to deal and where to go????.

Please be cool and don't get upset.

The only option you have is to get your LCD serviced.

As you are a business person i know the Difference between the Guarantee and Warrantee. The company has given you the warranty. now if there is a problem with your LCD screen then only your screen will be serviced. Neither They will not give you a new laptop nor they will be ready to refund you back until there is some loss beared by you. So cool down your mind and positively see What were the conditions of the company at the time when you purchased the laptop and what can be done Now.

You should get it serviced and enjoy the new laptop with new screen.

You should have read the small print, if this is a dead or "stuck" pixel your screwed, screens are expensive and have a fairly high occurrence of dead pixels so a get out clause is included in the warranty. It is not good practise but some laptop vendors esp Sony will refuse to fix them.

Please post the dealer name? Also which branch of the SONY customer service/support? An additional push, tell the dealer and SONY that you are going to send and post the whole story to major city newspaper complaining about the poor product and bad service plus negative attitude.

Note: I like Sony products myself, and own Laptop, TV, digital recording stuff.....
