no overclocking means increasing the speed(GHz)of your processor to a higher speed by giving it more voltage.

increasing ram will make your computer to fast i think so.the processor you have an option of turbo boost it means it will automatically increase its speed higher than its clock speed when needed.

hi dude there is no relationship between RAM and clock rate,

clock rate was generated by a crystal oscillater which is a different electronic component used in our laptop,

if you increase your ram size then which used for increase the buffering size,

that means at the time of data processing datas are transfered from hard disk to processor here ram work inbetween the hard disk and processor as a tempervary storage element,

here if we increase the ram size then the processing data between hard disk and processor will increased so the data will transvered little faster compare with the previous(low ram) time.

so,just understand it,there is no link between clocking and ram.

incresing RAM doesnt overclock you laptop.......

try getting a new processor with more computing speed like the core i7 series which offer you speeds up to 2.6ghz......overclocking occurs if you run highly demanding games and high end graphics.....

so upgrade only if you are a high-end pc gamer

No, that is just ridiculous. Increasing your RAM will only help pages load faster, it will NOT help your CPU out whatsoever and you generally CANNOT overclock laptops.

i guess it would increase your speed, dunno about the rest
