im good with computers but laptops confuse me
im on my moms laptop and when you open internet explore she has home pages in the first three tabs
how do i make it where only yahoo is here homepage and remove the other two.

right click on internet explorer choose properties, and on the tab that has homepage remove the other 2 entries and press apply ok, and this will close the options so when you open IE it will just open 1 tab.

Look into user accounts and have your mother set up a user account for you. You don't want to go changing her settings and making her upset with you.



Your own user account you can log into will allow you to set the computer up just exacty as you want to, providing you have administative rights. You can create your own password protected user account by going into Control Panel, User Accounts, Create a NEW Account in XP or in Vista, Control Panel, User Accounts and Family Safety, Add or Remove User Accounts.



Make sure your mother knows your password and don't forget it or you will be permanently locked out of your account.
