Notebooks are scaled down laptops. Obviously, that means in the physical dimentions, but it also means in PERFORMANCE too.

they're just the same... but if you're referring to sizes then thats where they differ. notebooks are still laptops but theyre just smaller. notebook or mini laptops have smaller memories, not heavy compared to the average sized laptops. aside from that, all or most notebooks dont have disc drives.

I thought laptops = = notebooks. These 2 terms are usually synonymous with each other and mean the same thing.
Or unless you have a NETbook in mind, a netbook is lower in performance against a laptop, though it is much more portable.
