I would first suggest going into your computer and trying a system restore to an earlier point when it was working better.

If that does not help you can reinstall or repair the Operating System, but then you have all the information to back up first and programs to reinstall afterwards,

Sounds to me like you have a virus that is blocking the windows update from patching the software or hole in the Operating System that it is using. You cant defrag or update the system because doing so would stop the virus from working so the virus will block any attempt to patch windows from Window Update and it will block any install of a legit Antivirus application like AVG, or Symantec.

You will most likely will need to reinstall Windows, don't do just a repair as that will not remove the whole virus. Do a clean install and that should do the trick.

Only one problem with doing that is that you will lose everything on the Hard Drive.

I presume you are using IE8 rather than Windows 8.

MSN Network is a Windows component - so when you are in Add/Remove Programs click on Add/Remove Windows Components on the left hand menu bar.

Try running an anti-virus scan in safe mode.

I think your main problem is that you are not connecting to the Internet for some reason which explains why you are not able to connect any of those sites.

This happened with me also when i used avast antivirus

what i think has happened is that while removing the virus, some of ur program files have been removed, so now try finding msn on internet

or reinstall windows thats the only things u can do now

Are you setting up provider %. 3 by using homestead windows computerized Updates or manually utilizing the community deployment get carry of (won't be able to remember fantastic call) obtainable from the Microsoft web site? As a house consumer you need to not be manually downloading the single from Microsoft's web site because it is meant for community directors who setting up provider packs for the time of a community of computers (e.g. an entire college) and not for homestead shoppers. you are able to turn computerized updates on and set up all the obtainable updates. at last whilst your computer is as much as this element, the computerized replace application will advise setting up SP3.
