How big is the USB drive? Some images can be larger than 8GB. You may be able to use Symantec Ghost. But typically you would have a Ghost Server running that would send a request ot the client to create an image file.

Once you have the image file(s) on the server you could then copy those to a USB hard disk drive.

I recommend you to use free Acronis True Image 7.0. It is much better than MS Backup utility. True Image will perform a backup with few clicks. Follow the link to get free serial number: http://www.acronis.com/mag/vnu-ati7

you may decrease back-up your information on your USB drives, notwithstanding it will be restricted to how a lot room that your force has. you would possibly want to probable purchase a DVD-RW that plug-ins into your usb port instead because the DVD- RWs have extra room to diminish back up your issues. USB demanding drives do exist, notwithstanding it would cost over $50 to purchase one.

I can't but agree with chromer. In my opinion True Image is more reliable then any other backup utilities and it will certainly do the job.
