What's the best laptop/tablet option for college?

Hi, I'm going to be starting college in January and I would like some advice on what the best laptop or tablet is. I'm going to be taking Computer Information System courses so there's probably going to coding and other things so I don't really think a tablet would be best.. but I would like some input. My budget is up to 400 dollars. Thanks!

I can't recommend anything for $400 or less cause the computer would have low class processor and not enough RAM!

I would check ebay. Also Apple has special financing for students I would check them out too.

I think you should go with samsung or ipad mini. both of these are the best brand .
