I have to give a PowerPoint presentation for my 9th grade English class tomorrow and the file won't attach to yahoo. Whenever I attach it and click send it says: The host 'hi' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'hi', Server: 'hi', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

I don't know whats going on there (...tech dummie!). I do suggest to either put it on a stick or copy it onto a disc instead of sending it.

The gobbly de **** msg is from the server telling you it Secure (ssl which is secure socket layer) what protocol it is & which port (25) that it can't get through on & then the full on Error Codes for both the socket & the Error number itself.

It obviously can't connect to the host server you are attempting to send it through. I would just put it on flash drive & take it with me to school, run a virus scan on it when putting it in the school Pc & then run it from the flash drive. Or take your own laptop with the info on & just plug it in. Good luck.

do no longer use the '' Open place of work rfile'' link yet pass to start/application/place of work/powerpoint and you will open powerpoint with out having to open latest rfile. If does no longer artwork, open homestead windows explorer ( no longer information superhighway Explorer) and flick with the aid of C:application filesofficeoffice12 or any and look for powerpoint.exe ( or use seek). good-click and create a shortcut on your laptop

You email it to your teacher right? If you do try using aol or something. Seems like something went wrong in the upload. Try a different browser like firefox or safari. I hope this helps.

I'm not a tech whiz, but you can get a temporary email address at hotmail or mail.com.
