I'm 14 and currently have a Dell computer. It recently stopped working and I want to get an apple computer. The macbook pros are too expensive, so I thought I'd get a macbook. Then, I found a refurbished 13" Macbook Pro for $950. Do the refurbished Macs work any differently? Or should I just buy the brand new Macbook? Thanks!

If you are looking for a little more of savings as well as a reliable computer with a applecare warranty, i suggest you try amazon.com They have the specific laptop in like new condition starting at $895 and even come with warranties so if anything should happen to it you can always get it fixed, as long as you dont purposely damage it, like dropping it or spilling liquids on it.

Also for your question about refurbished items: Usually they are macbooks that had been damaged or there were a technical problem with them, so they were repaired and made to look new, so basically they work the same as a new one would.

Well Here is a link to the amazon page:http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Foffer-listing%2FB001P05NKG%3Fie%3DUTF8%26ref_%3Dsr%5F1%5F2%5Folp%26qid%3D1274174513%26sr%3D8-2%26condition%3Dused&tag=hometheate07b-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957

properly, it relatively isn't any longer that Microsoft is 1337 and eff Apple, yet heavily, while the only element different is the working equipment, does that relatively justify spending two times on the product? extraordinarily while the competitor's OS is (IMHO) severely greater effectual? you are able to elect however. besides, a refurb product is in certainty a product that failed in some way that replaced into "repaired" to be "like new". in specific circumstances, they're previous laptops that are offered-lower back to Apple. There should not be actual harm to the product, even though it relatively is basically a used pc and now and lower back the subject concerns that led to it to fail in the 1st place reappear afterwards.
