I have a refurbished laptop for work and I honestly use it more than my new personal laptop.

they have been refurbished, which skill they have checked all of it works completely, then did a stress attempt on it. make helpful you purely purchase refurbished laptops from huge agencies like laptop international, and so on.

Whoever says no is a idiot.
If it was me, I would buy a refurbished laptop. Because 1, you know it is working. 2 It is cheaper. So buying a refurbished one is better and you can return it when it isn't working.

Make certain there is a return policy. What you should be most concerned with - is the screen still good. I mean, is it still *really* good. Second - is the keyboard still *really* good. third - is the mouse-pointer-thingy (whatever it is) still *really* good.
I noticed they did *not* say it is a "factory refurb". That gives me pause. "HP-trained technicians" is not as confidence-inspiring as "HP technicians".
Look around the web and see if you can find a factory refurb for less. Look at reviews and see if there are any reliability issues - try to get a model known for its reliability. And check it out *thoroughly* as soon as you get the chance.
I hope this helps.

I dont know how it could possibly be better-- could be cheaper in price, or if they did any uploads of programs that arent originally on the computer. Refurb only means it needed fixing.
New is always better. But if the price is right, why not try it.

no, refurbished devices are already garbage that has been back to life. It is still better to buy a new laptop

Yes. Because it is cheaper and they are brand new. They were shipped but not delivered and they cannot sell them at full price is an example. If you buy from a well known company you will be just fine.

As long as it has the same warranty and you are buying from the manufacturer. No difference

yes it is....that means that the manufacturer has paid more attention to it and has fixed, and rebuilt a lot of parts to make it stronger and last longer.

no.
buying a broken computer that has been fixed would not be considered as being 'better' than a new laptop.
cheaper? yes. better? no.
