A couple of days ago my asus would keep turning itself off when I turned it on.after waiting a bit, it finally started working fine again for a couple of days. Now I have a problem where the laptop keeps going to sleep by itself... I wake it up like 3 times and then the laptop shuts itself off. This is so annoying because it appears to be working fine until I start doing my work on it. I went into the battery settings and set everything to "never" but it still sleeps by itself

Does it beep at all when you turn it on? Do yoy run extensive games or programs? Could be anything from a dead power supply to a bad graphics card fan. Try and open it up, but DO NOT remove any parts it can void your warranty. Blow all the dustbout and see if that helps. Also another thing is go to your battery setting and make sure it isn't on power saver and the option when you close the lid is not on hibernate. Hope this helps if you have any questions feel free to message me :p ajswer mine please?

It's your power option. go to control panel, and click on Power, pick the right option like you want for this laptop to go to sleep or hibernate in 10 minutes which is not good when your away from your laptop for 10 minutes. LOL hope this helps!

Maybe the fan is broken, which causes it to overheat.
