With these specs I'm confident I'll be able to play WoW on high settings and not have any problems. But what if I run the recording program, Fraps, while I play WoW? Will the computer be able to handle it? Will there be lag? Any ideas/general advice is more than welcome.

I am not sure about fraps, but with Game Camcorder you should't get lags with suuch specs

Fraps does not compress the video as it records, so there will be lag regardless how good your computer is because it has to write massive files to your hard disk drive.

Try Bandicam recorder. Bandicam compresses the recording video when recording, and uses much lower CPU/GPU/RAM usage than Fraps. As a result, you may have much less lag.

FRAPS is largely CPU and disk dependent. It'll always give you a minor hit, but I doubt it'll be very significant on this laptop. You'll be fine.
