Your details are very confusing to start with.

What driver disc? Or do you mean you have a copy of the Recovery Partition

which contains a copy of your OS and drivers?

If so all you do is stick that in the drive and reboot and it will find it and start the

reinstallation process

Also when using F10 or 12 you press those and hold down when the laptop is first booting.

That will take you into the Recovery Program.

Also if you read the manual that came with it, that will tell you how

to reset it back to the Factory Settings.

Re-boot = Turn off, then back on.

Restore = Go back to a specific date/time, undo changes.

Recover = Return to 'Factory Default Settings'* (as new/out of the box).

1. Power on the machine.

2. At the ACER BIOS screen, hold the “Alt” key and press the “F10” key simultaneously to start Acer eRecovery. The window of opportunity is very small, so this may take a few attempts.

3. Once eRecovery has loaded, click “Restore to Factory Default Settings” (the password is six zeros, 0.0.0.0.0.0.).

4. Click “OK” to continue.

5. From here, the eRecovery process will update all the data on the C: drive and restore the factory image (approximately 10 minutes).

6. Once eRecovery has run, press “OK” to reboot unit.

Or

1. Reboot, and press F8.

2. Select Repair.

3. Select Reinstall Windows and follow prompts.

Or

Running System Recovery from Windows

1. Click Start>All Programs>Acer Empowering Technology.

2. Select Acer eRecovery Management.

3. Select Restore (bottom of eRecovery screen).

4. Select Restore system to factory default (the password is six zeros, 0.0.0.0.0.0.).

5. Select Yes then Next, the system will reboot and start the recovery.

Shut the computer down..

Press the power button, as soon as you press the power button..

F10 at the same time, press them over and over and over..

If you see the windows screen the command didnt work and you need to keep trying by shutting down the computer..

When the command does work, it will bring up a screen to restore the laptop to factory settings.

Keep in mind that restoring to factory settings will erase any pictures or documents you have. You may want to save those first.
