How do I ad a pcmcia card slot to a laptop that doesnt have one?

I have a compaq laptop that didnt come with a pcmcia port. Is there any way to add one externally and if so, where can i get it?

BS. your computer must be pretty old if it doesnt have a pcm slot. get a better computer

There is one for pc in the form of the pci card but those are too big for laptops. I doubt that there is one externally because I have yet to find one(as I also want one). Laptops generally should have a PCMCIA card but since your does not, I think your out of luck.

Try using a USB ---> PCMCIA adapter. Most of the manufacturers are working on express cards, but they will be available later this year.

If it doesn't have one, then use a wireless g USB adapter in one of your USB ports.
