I currently have a Dell Inspiron 15R, and I've read on some sites that it has great battery life. I find this to be a bunch of bull. My laptop can barely hold its charge for about an hour before I have to plug it in again, and it's only half a year old. I've tried switching to power saver mode but nothing seems to make a difference. Anybody else notice this, and have answers?

Almost all battery technologies have longer life only by keeping a near-full charge as often as possible. The deeper the discharges, the shorter the battery life, especially if you drain it to zero several times. Complete discharges (0%) kill batteries.
