Can i connect the apple airport express to any wifi network?

I own a apple iPod touch 4g 64gb and i am thinking of purchesing an apple airport express so i can wirelessly print, internet share and music share. But there is just one thing i want to know before i purches the airport express. Can it connect to any wifi network or must it be a specific network because at the moment i have a skybroadband wifi box would the airport express connect to this wifi network?

No. I am not sure about the "airport express" but I do know that some airports have their own wifi network that you need paid subscription for. You may see the network name in the list of wifi services but you will not be able to connect or use it unless you pay. Same thing with many hotels and other places where wifi services are enabled.

"You can also connect AirPort Express to a wireless network and use AirTunes to play music on your stereo from iTunes. Connecting AirPort Express to your existing network allows you to place AirPort Express in another room, within range of your network."
