hi,

my laptop isn't able to connect to internet via wireless, but does when hardwired through ethernet. i have updated all drivers, switched on radio switch at front, but for some reason it won't connect.

However, for the past while, i keep getting a small icon in the taskbar with yellow exclamation mark stating that "it has limited or no connectivity".

I have tried everything i can think of and tried various forums but no joy.

I am having the same problem with my Acer aspire 5610z. I can't connect to the internet wireless but i can with an ethernet cable. I had installed all the divers but still couldn't get it to work. I contacted Acer with this problem and they basically said my Broadcom Wlan card blew. So now i have to buy a new Broadcom wlan card, and i guess your in the same boat as me. I went to the Broadcom website to get a location in my area so i can stop in and purchase my part. I suggest u do the same, below is the link to all the Broadcom locations, click the one close to your city and you will get an address and a phone number.

Good luck

Since you didn't say what OS, I will say open network devices through the control panel. Right click on the wireless and select properties. Double click on the TCP/IP line. In the widow that opens, make sure the top is set to DHCP and the DNS is automatic. OK out. Do you have security set up on the router? If so need to click on the ICON and select connect to a wireless device and select yours. When it tries to connect, it will ask for the password.

because it says gadget can not be started and there is yellow exclamation mark icon next to the gadget so because it truly is propose you have put in a incorrect utility drivers, could be it truly is the comparable hardware kind yet not the comparable version,,, uninstall the present one making use of the utility motive force to delete the motive force from abode windows with out saving the drivers record to avert setting up it back via abode windows making use of the incorrect version setting up motive force information. then run the best motive force downloaded those days.
