If you're going to install a program like Photoshop or GIMP, a netbook really isn't for you. The poor little crappy Atom processor's meant to save energy, not be powerful. To be honest, you'd be better off buying a new laptop from a company like HP that's only like $400 or $500, as it will be able to handle those programs a lot better than a netbook. Just a heads up, if you're planning on doing photo editing with the netbook- that's one of the things it's not meant to do.

I have the smaller one, I wish I had gotten the larger. The key board is too small to really work on for any length of time. I would go for the larger of the two. BTW, it is very reliable and works great, just not great for a lot of typing.

Both suck but the second one has 1GB more ram and 90GB more HDD space, the video card may be worse but all Intel cards do anyway.
