Toshiba or Sony vaio Laptop?

Question

wich laptop is better the toshiba sattelite a100-383 or the sony vaio fe41z
they both have the same characteristics
So, I need a help choosing my laptop. in other words wich brand is better???????????

SONY SONY SONY... bigger brand better brand, eaiser to deal with. if you need help choosing i would sugest you go to best buy and talk to them about it they really know what they are talking about

For work related reliability I would go with Toshiba. They have been in laptop business much longer than sony and their laptops last a long time. Meanwhile hard to beat some of the consumer friendly features of Viao.

I like Sony products. The screens on the Sony laptops are by far the best.

Toshiba has had recent issues with their motherboards, but I will say that a lot of people have them and they are very nice. On the other hand the Vaio's are nice too, but if you ever need a part for them well you just better have your checkbook ready. They don't allow aftermarket parts(which brings prices down because of competition) so you'll have to deal with either sending it out to be fixed and/or buying the parts and have someone replace them if it does go wrong.

Sony generally makes better quality computers. Even if the specifications are the same, the manufacturer can make a very real difference in how the computer performs and how long it will last.
