I just got a Gateway s-7225c the HD was crashed, so I put in a new one and installed Windows 7 on it. It runs great, as a matter of fact, I'm using it right now.

My problem is, I cant seem to find ANY drivers for this. The WIFI works, the Audio works, and the Screen and Graphics look great.

My issue is with the card reader, and the touch screen and on screen buttons. None of those work. I don't think that Gateway supports this anymore...

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Points to the winner!!

ATTENTION! The Drivers listed on the Gateway site for the 7220 are NOT the drivers that I need. Those are for a normal Laptop, and I have the CONVERTIBLE laptop with the TOUCH SCREEN.

UPDATE!

I had a very helpful person assist me in finding the VEN_xxxx and DEVxxxx number of the devices that I need. they are

ACPI\FPI2004

and

ACPI\MSTabletPCButtons

My issue now is that when I google those numbers, as suggested, I get a TON of sites, and most of them don't seem trusted or they want me to buy something.

Does anyone know where I can download the drivers for those safely?

THANKS! Points to the best answer!!

Try that.

I will look for drivers as well.

Hi,

I would suggest contacting Gateway directly.
