I’ve just factory rest my computer because I couldn’t find the issue on my it was lagging so much and running slow so bad. I’ve checked every darn form on apple.
I’ve tried everything I could try, even ran a hardware diagnostics test. It said no issue was found.

I can’t even watch Netflix or Hulu with the video being interrupted by some error. And I know my issue is not my internet connection because everything else in my house runs just fine.
I also can’t run any apps. They crash or just lag.

If it is a hardware issue, what could I possibly need to replace.

It’s a MacBook Pro mid 2012, OS X Sierra, version 10.12.6

And please don’t doesn’t me to some forum or support by apple because I’ve already been there. Many times!

Update your OS, you are 2 versions old and many auxiliary apps will crash.

macOS Mojave requirements: MacBook Pro (Mid 2012 or newer)

Let us know afterward if that doesn't fix the issue.

Note: If you can't get to app store, you can install via internet.

Hold down Command and R (⌘ + R) at the same time.

When you hear the startup chime (or when the screen goes black on newer Macs), keep holding the keys until your computer reboots.

Click on Reinstall a new copy of macOS.

IDEA: Since your Mac is older and you've formatted it anyway, I suggest you upgrade to a SSD.
