why cant I play games on my new acer laptop? I play game on facebook and now it says cannot connect?

to play games. When I had my acer laptop when it was vista I could play all the games.It wont let me download flash player 10 to play game.... keeps saying CANNOY CONNECT TO INTERNET EXPLORER?? Please help me to understand what is going on??With this windows 7 I cant play games like when I had vista. Please help me out!!

Your problem is that you're using internet explorer. The only thing you should use internet explorer for is downloading firefox or google chrome. Then try downloading flash with either of those browsers and you'll be back to playing your games. Just don't use IE.

With insufficient information, I can only advise that you go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings > Connections. Remove the proxy server settings if there are any.



Still on Internet Options, go to Advanced and click on Reset.



After that, you may want to upgrade to IE9 if you haven't done so then update your Adobe Flash Player:

You should download foxfire and try that....it is a smoother running brower.
