How do you fix your laptop back to normal setting and all after clearing the disk?

Ok I went to this site and did what it told me too by cleaning out my disk thing, nothing is the same since I did this at first everyone was ok now its like my pc is crazy or stupid. Dx

"clearing the disk" - not sure what you mean by this, if you mean wiping the hard drive clean then you need to restore everything, starting with the operating system.



If your PC is resonably new, then you can restore it back to its factory settings by booting from the recovery partition on the hard drive.



Check your manual, instead of restore discs manufacturers often load built in recovery partitions, certainly Acer, Sony and Toshiba do.



Alternatively, right click "my computer," "manage" followed by "disk management" and see if you can see a partition here called "recovery" or similar.

so you want to go back to factory settings, is that what your asking? you will need a recovery or boot disc for this. and on the disc is the option to "restore to factory settings" and it will clean everything up to square 1 for you.

Just click on the reset default setting icon. So it will be back to it's original setting.
