Your hard disk is SATA.

XP doesn't recognize SATA until you install sata controller drivers

You need to have a usb floppy drive and use the F6 method when installing XP

Or use nLite to slipstream the sata controller

Scroll down to Intel SATA AHCI Controller Driver

The Native SATA mode will be an option visible in BIOS.

XP by default is not SATA enabled. However, you can create a new bootable disk with SATA drivers present in the drive. However, a much easier method is to disable the native SATA mode from BIOS and then install XP. After you are done, install the SATA drivers manually from XP and then restart after enabling the SATA mode from BIOS.

There is a detailed article on Microsoft site, however I don’t rem the link. But, I have used the method earlier and it works absolutely fine.

To enter BIOS, restart your computer and keep pressing the F2 key.

Hey buddy. Do not worry. Insert the CD in computer. Then Restart computer from CD. Rest will be done automatically. You will be asked to create drives. You will be given arrow movements on how to do that. It s damn easy. You just need to know just the basic of computer. Thats it. The user friendly environment will help you rest of the way.
