why could this happen? it doesn't work again until i turn it off and on again.... oh and it's a toshiba satellite

if it in the trackpad go to the toshiba website and download the trackpad drivers for your computer and that should fix it or there might be a cord lose inside or if your computer is getting old it is starting to break down and it is time to get a new one

Its not unusual that a laptop does that. Usually a laptop does that because you've been using it too much or the memory crashed, Laptops are slow and can cause some problems. It can also be the WifI connection(Not always but 30% of the time)....well good luck and hope I helped

I really don't know what the problem could be but you can call Toshiba and they should be able to give you better help

attempt to uninstall the USB motive force then set up again. use motive force detective to examine your motive force or bypass to seller cyber web web site and examine for more recent motive force. if this not paintings, then attempt to uninstall domicile windows. if nonetheless not paintings, possibly something incorrect on your USB Hardware bypass to pc save and ask them to examine.
