-- I want to buy laptop with latest technology and latest specifications.
-- I will be first time buyer and I need it for my personal and study (mba) purpose.
-- Main usage will be internet, youtube, photo storing, editing & uploading, chatting, hearing songs/music & office applications.
-- I would prefer webcam on top or screen, face and fingerprint identifications.
-- It should be user friendly.
-- I am middle class so it would be big investment for me so definately I look for long battery life and durability with latest technology too.
-- My Budget is only Indian Rupees (INR) 28000 to Rs. 30000. The price should not exceed Rs. 30000/-
-- I am looking to buy lenovo or dell. I don't want to go for brands like samsung or acer as its brand name don't look good, I want to go for lenovo or dell, can I get it under that range.?

-- And finally I don't have knowledge about laptop technology. What latest technology and specification it should have? Like I heard something about processors, ghz etc. but what is that?

Specifications

4GB RAM

1GB Graphic card (is you are a gamer)

500GB HDD (normally in all laptops as of now)

i3 (no need for i5 as no major difference)

for long battery life you need to go for hp (as hp laptops are the best followed by dell)

Best of luck dude !!!

First of all Acers are GREAT they always have high ram and good virus defense.

If your looking between dell and lenovo... all i know is that dell's are notoriously slow and low graphics, at least this computer that im using... they are very generic though and looks like they could fit your specifications... but anyways brand names aren't important the things you want to look for is its graphics card(and can this be updated) RAM space (This is pretty much the speed that your computer can download and upload and do anything) the more space that it has the better it will run as computers get slower the more memory that is used. Don't go for something that is apparently "quality" unless it has over 2 gigabytes(G) of Ram and 64 bit video card + hope your search goes well! Remember to look for those not just the brand!

Also the more processors the more your machine can do at once. So thats another thing to factor in.

Good computers sometimes cost a lot. but these are some specifications for a good computer beside the webcam and fingerprint specifications.

1. the number of processors: average is duo core processor. latest(expensive) quad core processor

2. Hard disk Memory: based on what to be used for. average is 200GB

3. Random Access memory(RAM): average is 2GB. latest is 4GB

4. VGA: video graphics adapter: best ones are Nvidia or ATi . VGA average 1Gb latest 2Gb

5. Computer speed :average 1.50Ghz better 2.0Ghz

i think those are the specifications i look for when it comes to hardware
