Use the operation system or recovery disc that came with your computer when you bought it. Back up any important files on your computer by either putting them on an external drive (flash drive, ipod, etc.) or burning them to a disc. Then pop in the disc and when it boots up it should say press any key to boot from cd. Press a button, wait for it to load, then follow the directions on the screen to reinstall the OS clean.

If you do not install a good Internet Security program you will continue to have this problem. Run a full system scan for virus, spyware, malware.

If the hard drive has a recovery partition press F11 or F10 at black start up screen to enter recovery or read the user guide or down load the user manual/guide from http://www.dell.com support. You can also order a set of operating system recovery disc by model and serial number to install new OS or to do a system repair.

You need to have up to date Anti Virus Software. Period All windows machines MUST HAVE UP TO DATE ANTI VIRUS SOFTWARE. Now that I have made that perfectly clear. When you re format your hard drive, meaning you re-install windows, It erases EVERYTHING and will only install WINDOWS. If you don't know what you are doing I suggest you take it to a computer shop and let them do it. Because they will need to do all the updates and download all the updates and drivers and hot-fixes from Microsoft. Ideally you need a Full Retail Version of Windows, this will allow you to not download all thatunnecessaryy crap that all the computer manufactures versions have that just eat up space. I think all you need is Anti virus software. And, Malwarebytes, and Spybot Search and Destroy

probably a good idea to let a certified computer technician do the work

DREAM ON.

REMOVE PARTITION. SET PARTITON. HIGH LEVEL FORMAT. CLEAN INSTALL

BUT YOU COULD JUST REMOVE THE VIRUS ;p
