Can I download a cd burner if my laptop does not come with one?

Before I call and ask Asus (which takes at least ten minutes)...

Can I download cd burner software for a laptop? Or is there no way I can burn cds on my laptop?

I forgot to check for one when I bought it and the product description doesn't say anything about a burner.

Does it say cd-rom or if call asus have a dvd/cd optical drives most of the cd optical drives are cd-rom meaning can be used for burning cd's to it

yes, You can download a cd burner in your laptop if it doesnt have one. Just search free download cr burners online.

If you computer is not equipped with a cd burner then you cannot burn cd's no matter what software you have. If it does have one then you should be able to use almost of music player to burn them....windows media player or itunes would probably be best.
