I'm having a problem with the keyboard and touch pad of my HP G60-4420M laptop. It suddenly stopped working after hitting the Num-lock key. In order to be able to write I have to keep coming back to the desktop>keyboard>drivers and hit OK. If I suddenly hit the Caps-lock or Num-lock it won't work again. The touch pad just plainly stopped working. Please advice!

Hi Maria R;

Go to the HP website and download the mouse or touchpad drivers and reinstall it. This should fix your problem.

I'm going to guess a DV model eh? Well known to be a problematic series. HP laptops in general the past few years. Forget it and buy a new laptop and never an HP again. Good luck to ya and enjoy the Alienware.

Reinstall your Operating System. Your OS is corrupted so don't try repairing it. I am sure you might have some worms or virus that is caused damage on your OS and is turning you to a Zombie.So Format the system and reinstall.
