After I change the hard disk of my Dell Latitude C640, the display on the screen only appears in the middle of the screen not full screen. When press the power button, the Dell logo appears smaller, like minimus in the middle of the screen. When I press F2 for set-up, the Bios is back to full screen display. When I reinstall windows, all the process are only display in the middle of the screen, and still display in the middle when windows restatrs. Why? and how to correct it?

If you put in a new hard drive and formatted it, you need to reinstall the drivers. You have a Dell so somewhere on there you have a service tag #. Go to Dell.com and put in ST# and you can pick the downloads and drivers you need. The BIOS will let you maximize the POST screen on later models but will not change when the Operating System takes over. If you have the driver CD just use that. Hope this helps......

This is a screen resolution issue.

In XP, right click on the desktop background and choose "properties".

In the box that appears, go to the last panel "display settings" and drag the resolution slider to the right.

In Vista right click the desktop background and choose "personalise" then choose "display settings" and drag the resolution slider to the right,

CLick OK - done.

1) Install the video card driver

2) Adjust the screen resolution
