Yes it will work without any issue on a new laptop as far as the software goes. Otherwise you may not be able to activate it if you or someone else has been installing it on other computers, but you can always trying calling the licencing line if you run into that.

Using Office 2007 is not recommended as it is no longer receiving security updates. This should be really concerning if you plan on using Outlook 2007 as an e-mail client.

But to answer your question: Yes, it should be able to work if you run it in compatibility mode for Windows Vista.

However, I would not recommend using anything older than Office 2010, and even that will soon stop receiving security updates. You can buy Office 365 or Office 2019 online or from your local computer store.

Yes. Any version will install on most Windows software, unless said software is too old

yes-

Office 2007 (Version 12) is no longer part of mainstream support and hasn't been tested on Windows 10. However, Office 2007 will install and run on Windows 10.

Versions of Office prior to Office 2007 are no longer supported and may not work on Windows 10.

it should work. "compatibility mode" may be required.

note: if the same serial number is already installed elsewhere, at the next automated update, MicroSoft may ban one copy from future updates and patches.

Microsoft Office 2003 and earlier. ... Microsoft's official word is that Office 2007 and above are confirmed to be compatible, while older versions "are not certified compatible with Windows 10 but might work using compatibility mode.

All you will need is the Office 2007 key code

I'm running office 2007 on my windows 10 computer. You may have to run it in "compatibility mode", but I didn't need to make any alterations.

Yes, Office 2007 should work on newer versions of Windows. However, if you've used the product key before, it might not accept it on the new laptop if it was activated on a different PC. You might need to call Microsoft and tell them that you're moving your Office 2007 license to a new computer.
