I'm a future college student who needs a laptop. I'm interested in writing and film, but haven't decided anything just yet. Should I get a mac or pc laptop, and then what model?

ignore the first two biased comments; good example of idiotic individuals who don't know s*** about Mac's!

hi there! for a college student, I would recommend purchasing the 13" Macbook Pro with the 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo Processor & 4GB DDR3 Memory. You can get the $100 off college discount which reduces price down to $1099 ( this is the subtotal price excluding tax). It's very expensive, but very well worth the investment! If you need to run Windows 7 on your Mac, I'd recommend purchasing VMWare Fusion 3, works great!

i just got a macbook pro after having many pcs. Macs are just in a different class. I suggest the macbook pro 15 inch or the standard macbook. They are very pricey but they will get you through college.
Yeah I know.

Get a pc, macs are just way too overpriced and limited on the things you can do. I don't understand the point of them, you pay more money in order to be able to do less with your computer.
