well i sold my laptop, using the money to buy another laptop
but thinking about it, there's 4 laptops and 1 computer at my house anyway.
So i could just use the computer for all my things that require a Flash player or whatever.
so.. in your opinion, iPad or laptop?
i'm a student and need things to write on, i also want the entertainment side of an iPad.
cause thinking about it, in my year i am not aloud to take a laptop to school, but ipad's are transportable and i've seen people with them at school.

opinions? ideas?

i have about £450 to use.

You're aware that the iPad is conveniently a tablet and now not a laptop, right? You could simplest use application on the iPad which has been downloaded from the App retailer. For those who require a unique software for your learn, you're accordingly out of good fortune. An iPad cannot substitute a desktop. If you do not require any particular software, then there is nonetheless the typing on an iPad. If you happen to have got to form rather a lot, the iPad isn't very suitable since typing on an exact keyboard is continually less complicated. As for the space for storing, handiest which you could decide. Every iPad has a wi-fi community adapter, enabling you to connect with a wireless community. 3G is a cellular internet answer. For those who require web on the go, go for the 3G mannequin and pay for a cell web subscription. The iPad is more tender than a computing device is, so you are going to at all times need to be careful. No ipads/tablets are never going to replace a laptop, open up google and search "hybrid tablet" that's what you need. I own a Asus transformer (im a student too, had a 17in laptop that i took to school and it was ridiculous, sold it to buy the transformer and never looked back), best thing about it is its 16 hour battery life and weighs about an eighth if the weight.
