I have seen the link that you have given, it may work if you are tech savvy. I write this coz some problems may come so you have to act accordingly which is not mentioned here. A better graphocal guide is given here http://www.petri.co.il/install_windows_xp_pro.htm

In all you will have to:

(a) Keep Xp disk and key ready.

(b) Boot the system from CD and pree any key to start installation

(c) Follow the onscreen prompt and it will take around 40 minutes for complete installation

(d) Then you will need to install all the system drivers and applications that you want to use.

(e) Once the internet is configured, you need to run Windows Update

You can also check this site http://www.windowsreinstall.com for all Windows Installation details.

Try to get a new gpu if possible.

To reinstall XP:

First format your HDD.

Put in the XP CD after you on your pc and restart again

Just after on, press F8 or F12 depending on mobo to get to BIOS.

Find boot option and select CD-ROM as first priority. Save & Exit.

After rebooting, Follow the instruction, selecting which is appropriate.

Then, it will bring you to the setup of installing XP.

Basically, if u delete everything in your harddisk, it means that the OS (windows7) is nuked too, then that means u can insert another different OS(winXP) in there.

But, if you're not sure, u can buy another harddisk for u to install a new one, about 80GB is enough.. Then if that works, u can delete the windows 7 folder in your old harddisk

no, they have not any concept what they are doing(the positioning you gave not the human beings helping you now0. it relatively is common, for me besides(ive accomplished this a lot of situations). first have you ever backed up your information ? in case you have then placed your XP disc interior thecontinual and restart your workstation whilst asked to push a key besides from CD click any key, if it would not ask restart it back and save pushing Delete, whilst interior the bios menu seek for bios thoughts and seek for boot order, not shure the way you workstation labels stuff only google if that isn't maximum impressive on your bios, whilst setup is finished loading factors press get away, and press F8 to settle for th e license contract then in case you in common terms have one partition / HDD then press enter, then F then L i think of, cont keep in mind at this good 2nd, (ive only like rapidly accomplished this devoid of thinking or reading the stuff on demonstrate screen) its on there what key to press to proceed. now whilst setup is working it is going to ask you 3 to 4 issues that are self explanatory. and that ought to have you ever with a intense-high quality sparkling deploy of XP

Give it to a computer technician and tell him your problems! He may solve it.
