Does Linux requires Apple Laptop or any other Laptops?

Question

I Want to buy Linux Operation System so I have to buy Apple Laptop or not?
(example: buy HP with Linux.)
and thx for hlping.

Any computer (really) A-N-Y computer) can run Linux, or better, Linux does not need massive resources to run. Example? I installed a print server on my LAN: P3/320Mb/10Gb/Lan, annother example? A web server P3/254Mb/40Gb/Lan.

Linux can run on Macbooks or plains, no sweat.

Linux is a free OS that should work on an computer to date, including a Mac or Windows computer.

you don't by a lnux os.. it's free and it can go on just about any pc,laptop,netbook,Ipod, toaster....just kidding lol. but if you have a laptop just download an iso of a linux os and you can ...burn it to a disc/dvd ,install it to a flash drive,install it to a windows os like a program. run the cd as a live cd there are many choses to use it. i use this one http://www.ubuntulinux.org/ but a remake of it is the version i have now called Super OS http://hacktolive.org/os . if you need to make a disc to run the live cd use this to burn it http://www.imgburn.com/ then just boot the pc with it and just chose the "live" option. for a flash drive i use this http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/ . just make sure you have an empty drive with enough space to put the os onto it and plugged in b4 you start Unetbootin . if you need more help just e-mail me
