Can't update nVidia GPU driver?

Question

Can't update nVidia GPU driver
i uninstalled the 267.21 and tried to install the 275.33 driver..
but the 275.33 driver always says...No Nvidia graphic card detected
What can i do ?

You have to go to device manager and make sure all display adapters are removed.

Then reboot.



Then install 280.19 beta here

Your laptop may not be supported by any other drivers other than those supplied by the laptop manufacturer.Although both Nvidia and AMD supply mobility drivers from their download section they state as a disclaimer that you should download graphics drivers directly from your laptop manufacturers website to ensure they are fully compatible.

When updating a graphics card you never uninstall the old driver. You're essentially uninstalling the card by doing that, which is why you get that error. Now you need to reinstall your card, then upate it.
