I hate my MAC! Should I have gotten a PC?

I hate my mac computer, it isn't compatible with any of the games I play, it doesn't recognize my mp3 player, doesn't recognize my psp, OR playstation 2, and Im sick and tired of scouring through the internet trying to find plugin's and software that are specific to the system. Why do people make such a big deal of Mac when it's lowsy operating system is terrible?

u should have gotten a pc! its cheaper and can do more with less cost for peripherals. the graphic, speed...ect, its just as compatible for both. u would have been happier with a campaq or sony rather! pipol make a big deal of mac coz dey wanna stand out in the crowd, and have the cash! i would never buy a mac!

If your mac is an Intel mac then you can install windows (or use wine to run windows software, probably won't run all that many games though).



Mac OS X actually does have some very big advantages over Windows and when it comes to the core of the OS, it really is a lot better (pity Apple had to put their GUI on it) and the compatibility issues are due not to windows being better but due to windows being more widespread (though windows does have a better user interface, at least once you spend some time configuring it, still inferior to fvwm though).



As for why people make a big deal of macs, it's probably a mixture of things, there are the deluded who think macs are better for graphics (current macs are PCs in all but mouse button number only (and even then some desktop macs have enough mouse buttons) and most of the same software is available for windows and mac so there's really no difference there), there are those who are fed up with windows and there are those who just follow fashions (and waited in line for an iPhone), there may even be a few who actually like the GUI apple put on Mac OS X.

It all depends on what you use it for, I use a pc but would love a mac, I take allot of photos and videos, I have a few pods and an Iphone. A mac woudl be good for me as I dont have a psp, playstation or play many games.



It is an excellenty product you just dont use compatiable products to enjoy it.

Macs are bought by shallow people who are more interested in appearances than functionality. They're the same people who buy Ipods because everyone else has them, not because they think they're the best mp3 player available. Then they can plug them into their macs and not think anything of it.

Macs are very good, but the things you are doing are more compatible with a PC. Sell your Mac, and get a PC. You'll be much happier.
