Google Chrome, by far. It's very light (low memory usage), it runs quickly, it's easy to use, and it's secure. It also has an extension library like Firefox does, and most of what is in the Firefox extension library now has a Chrome equivalent.

Firefox is next in line. It's a bit more customizable than Chrome and has about the same security, but it's slower, uses more memory, and in my experience is a bit less user-friendly. I've also experienced some stability issues with it, but that's just me.

Do not use Internet Explorer. It's slow, it's not stable for a lot of people, it's not user friendly, it's one hell of a memory tank, and it is by far the least secure of those three browsers.

Of course, it always depends on what your particular needs are.

Chrome-Nice interface; Fast out of the box

IE-Nothing wrong with it: "security issues" are a joke-just get some free anti-virus protection: its slowness can be counteracted by how fast any new computer is.

However, I would definitely suggest Mozilla Firefox for the addons: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/

1. Themes: Change how Firefox looks-can make it look like chrome/IE, make firefox all glass, and many others

2. Usefulness: Including quicknotes, timers, stopwatches, time trackers, adblockers, flash blockers, video downloaders, etc.

3. Performance Boosters: This is the biggest reason I like Firefox. Even if you have no use for any different themes or useful addons, there are performance boosting addons as well. There is "Faster Firefox" (makes Firefox faster), "Memory Fox" (make Firefox use significantly less memory)

4. Customability: Though technically not an addon, there are also many sites that can be used to increase your browser speed (doubling for me). Here is the one I used: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/the-ultimate-guide-to-speeding-up-firefox-3-5/

In conclusion, Firefox is the best if you are willing to spend the time to download some addons and change the configurations. Chrome is the fastest out of the box. And IE is just a nothing-wrong standard to fall back to if anything goes wrong with the others.

Out of those choices, my objective response would be that it doesn't really matter which you choose -- both Google Chrome and Firefox are fine -- but *subjectively* speaking, I greatly prefer Firefox since there are several addons that I simply cannot live without. That's me though. If you don't regularly rely on any particular Firefox addons, then there's not much that would prevent you from migrating to Chrome.

Mozilla Firefox. Can be said for all computers. IE = Bad news. and I've never even heard of Google Chrome, but i'd rather save them for my search engine cause I don't trust em as far as I can throw em.

I definitely have in no way seen a Vista DVD boot up so no theory of the menu suggestions, i replaced into informed it replaced into there as quickly as I fastened my dad's Vista pc. Your Dell restoration gadget could get you back to day one, wiping all your archives. Please please please take my suggestion in this. do not believe any abode windows backups, i'm able to guarentee that in case you utilize a abode windows backup, then use the Dell (or the different) restoration gadget, you is merely not waiting to restoration your archives. the reason being easy, the significant to the backup isn't saved with the backup, it quite is deleted once you restoration your gadget from scratch. there is not something you're able to do approximately that. So get your archives off with a lavatory accepted record reproduction, drag-n-drop, to a USB gadget or community region. abode windows respectable tackle what to do with a corrupt Vista is under, it quite is absolute (sorry, i think of that word ought to get blocked) bullorgans. i think of you will understand with the aid of now which you will finally end up utilising the Dell restoration gadget. they might have a hidden volumn and a skill as nicely into it, get that backup first.
