I have a Dell Inspiron 1721 with Windows Vista that has more and more recently bluescreened while it is playing music from both Itunes and Youtube. Several automatic updates will also not install, and I think that there may possibly be a relation. Does anyone have any experience in this problem / have any possible solutions?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Warning and error messages of any kind serve a good purpose because you can't detect all potential issues. Messages that highlight a significant problem and go above and beyond to alert you are even better. That is the "blue screen" in Windows. When something is critically wrong with the your PC, your entire display turns blue. However, some issues like corrupt drivers or outdated software do not necessitate complete disablement of your PC. You can disable blue screens in Windows so that you can manage the problem--without "the blue screen of death."

1

Click on "Start" or the Windows orb logo on the taskbar at the bottom of the desktop to show the Start menu. Select "Run" from the menu to open a dialog box. Type "sysdm.cpl" in the blank field labeled "Open," then click the "OK" button to open the "System Properties" box.

2

Click on the "Advanced" tab to bring it to the front of the box.

3

Click on "Settings" in the "Startup and Recovery" section.

4

Click to clear the check mark from the box next to "Automatically restart" in the "System failure" section.

5

Click "Restart" from the Start menu power options to see if the "Blue Screen" no longer appears the next to you boot up your PC.

Make sure that the system registry do not contain incorrect and unacceptable entries. For example, invalid file paths, errors in DLLs registrations, etc. Install and run Reginout registry repair. On the welcome page, click "Start Scan" button. Click "Fix Now" button when the scan result appears on your screen.

Restore your computer to an earlier date. There is a tool called "System Restore" that you can use to do this task. Click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore. Follow the on screen instructions.

Faulty RAM leads to Blue Screen of Death. Change your RAM, if possible. If you have multiple RAMs installed, then check them one by one individually.

Hi,

Go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and right-klick the flash animation in the middle,

click on settings and deactivate hardware acceleration.

It's a problem with the new flash player, some graphics cards

don't support the hardware acceleration.

You should download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, you can get it for free here http://bitly.com/1p3PVva

Adobe Flash Player is often responsible for video issues on pc. For instance I had lots of black screens on youtube. I tried to figure out the reasons myself as people keep saying very different things on the topic. In my opinion the problem is not youtube, it's something in your computer that it's not working properly and must be updated. I am sure that if you update adobe flash player you will be able to fix all your problems and your videos will start working again.
