I have saved up for a pretty pricey computer. I am however, not a computer expert, so I would like you all to tell me if this is an all around amazing laptop.

I am looking for a great multimedia experience, so I am interested in the Toshiba Qosmio X775 series.
I am mainly going to use the computer for typing up word documents, music, videos, and possibly graphic design. I'd love a great sound system, and I need a lot of space.

I'm typing this on a 7 year old Toshiba Satellite A75. Not only does the unit STILL outperform many new laptops (not the one you describe, for sure) but it is a great laptop all on it's own.



Yes, Toshiba makes great laptops.

Yes, the Toshiba Qosmio, which is their flagship line, is a great model series.

Yes, the video chipset (NVidia 560m) is great for gaming.

Yes, the processor will perform well.



It is a great laptop. You will enjoy it. Granted, it is a little flashy in how it looks, but if you like that... then it's all good.
