I currently have a Compaq Presario and it has crashed so many times, and I have tried three different virus protectors but not at the same time. I have used one virus protector and had problems with it, and deleted it and tried another one. I'm currently a college student, and I would need to be able to bring the laptop to class. I would use the laptop for school, papers, music, photos, and internet. Basically, just everyday computer use. I don't like the mini laptops, or net books for that matter. I looked on the Mac Buyer's Guide and it seems like all the laptops might possibly be due for a update. At this point and time, I don't know if my laptop can last another year, and I really don't want to invest anymore money on it. If you don't have a Mac or own a Mac then don't bother answering. If someone could recommend a good laptop, and if I should buy it now or later. I'm pretty much done with PC's and have gave up that they are worth buying anymore, when I surf the internet I only go on my school website, yahoo mail, and sometimes face book but somehow I always get viruses. I don't download anything, not even from my school website. I have spent over $200 on virus protections and removal services but none of this has worked. I rather buy a Mac than spend another $200 on something that doesn't work.

MacBook Pro is a very good machine and will last a long time, lots of hard drive space and performance.

Mine is over 6 years old and still can run three operating systems at once. A real workhorse.

I highly suggest:

1: Getting the largest 7,200 RPM hard drive for performance (unless you live on battery all the time, then 5,400 slower)

2: RAM to 4 GB

3: Anti-glare screen, The glossy ones look nice, but are practical when all you see if your face.

4: AppleCare and a case with shoulder strap, protect it and treat it well. Don't overwork the cd/dvd drive and keyboard. It will last 10 years easy.

5: You can use virtual machine software to run Windows, Linux and their programs for the most selection.

You don't have to wait, present Mac's are more than enough powerful for nearly everyone, and the new Sandy Bridge are delayed and could be problematic as it's a new processor.

If your really just worried about a virus/trojan getting on your OS (Operating system) switching to a mac OS will just lower the chance slightly the number of mac virus/trojans has been rising quickly over the past 6 years. The safest OS at the moment is Unbuntu it is a linux based OS and has come a long way. It can do anything a Windows OS can do except Unbuntu has around 5 viruses... last time i checked and windows has about 60 thousand :) check out unbuntu what many have been doing is creating a dual boot pc. That means your pc can load into unbuntu or windows at startup. Its easy to do. Just check out Unbuntu's forums. You be happy you did. there forums have tons of info on how to do it as well as any other questions. GL to you sir.

Dont buy one until you have to. I was pissed when i got my iMac and they updated with better graphics and i3 processors only 3 weeks later. They are due for an update around April sometime so get one when the update comes out.

Switching to mac is a great idea, best choice I ever made. I never get viruses, most of the software is free, and the Mac OS is much nicer to use than Windows.

You should hold off for just a bit because new models of MacBook should be coming soon. One thing that you'll really like about Mac is that you can easily synchronize your Apple Address Book and iCal with Yahoo addresses and your Yahoo calendar.

i'm going to be satisfied that may assist you choose MAC eyeshadows. because of the fact which you probably did no longer grant your epidermis, hair, or eye shade, i'm going to provide you innovations which will tournament all epidermis colors. you may get 2 colors perfect off the bat: a spotlight and additionally a contouring shade - once you get those out of how, you will get virtually any shade to circulate in between. For spotlight colors, you like something lighter than your epidermis shade and something the two matte or velvet. Rice Paper is a nude impartial shade which could be utilized under your foreheadbone for somebody who has a extremely mild to deep complexion. Gesso is a marvelous white shade that is used very gently to characteristic a spotlight. For mild epidermis, my all time famous shade of eyeshadow (as a spotlight) is Brule. next, you will desire to choose a contour shade which will upload intensity on your eyes. %. a brown, any brown - yet one it rather isn't any longer too dark. choose a matte brown because of the fact it will look extra organic. i could circulate with Cork in case you have mild epidermis to medium epidermis, or coffee for deep skintones. Now....right this is the relaxing area! figuring out on a shade to play with. Do you like something shimmery? Or something diffused and quiet? in case you like something that has a POP to it...%. out Goldmine, Paradisco, or Hepcat. in case you like something quiet and candy, choose Haux, Digit, or Sable. Now for application: be conscious the spotlight shade under your foreheadbone and mixture it quite downward. making use of a tapered brush, be conscious the contour shade on your crease. And final, sweep the relaxing shade throughout your lid and as much as the crease. gently mixture the crease shade and the relaxing shade mutually. have relaxing! :)
